- Rejected, but encouraged to apply to their masters program. I have a 3.5 GPA, excellent letters of recommendation, low GRAs, and a lot of research experience. Somewhat disappointed because I really wanted to work with a particular professor from the department. In any case, I believe in the saying that things happen for a reason so I am hoping for better news from the other schools that I applied to.
