- Applied at the beginning of March, contacted department sec. at the end of June, and again several weeks later after the department did not notify me of its decision. My application has been "under consideration" for over six months without ANY apparent action. The semester I applied for has come and gone. The spring semester starts Monday. Apparently they were too busy soliciting applications from other students on Twitter and taking care of their new international students to actually inform me of their decision. Applying to UNL has been a thorough waste of my time and money.
