- Could use some help, got an email last week from UCLA- Comp. Sci. Depart. saying they want me to pursue a Ph.D. instead of a Masters? Can they do this to me? Does this mean that I am at least accepted for an MS, and should I ask about funding if I am going to do a Ph.D? My goal was just an MS, now should I do a Ph.D, can someone give me some advice? Should I cancel my applications to Georgia Tech, Berkeley, UIUC and Mich. Thanks, please respond to my posted
