- To other people accepted in UT Austin, Does your acceptance letter mention whether the admission is for masters or for phd? I applied for phd, but the offer letter only states "I am pleased to inform you that you have been admitted to the Graduate School of The University of Texas at Austin for advanced study of civil Engineering". Btw, no funding decision is made.
