- I received an email stating: "On behalf of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, I am pleased to inform you that we have recommended to the UMD Graduate School that you be admitted to the MPH program in Epidemiology" Only the graduate school can offer admission, but in almost every instance they follow the recommendation of the department. I'm supposed to hear from the graduate school 5-10 business days later.
