- Thank you, nonfiction applicant, for sharing your own experience with The New School. I should have done a better job of finding out exactly how much funding each program offers before applying. Knowing what I know now (that The New Schools offers ZERO funding, that is, they offer “25%†off of tuition, which means that even after being “funded", students are still looking at 80K in debt in tuition alone, not to mention housing, insurance, meals, metro card etc), it makes no difference to me that I wasn’t picked on the first-round. Good luck (and TONS of money) to those who are willing to go there.
