- On the 21st I received an email saying that a decision had been made and to check the website on the 24th. On the website (the application page) there was a generic rejection letter which was fine considering there were over 300 applicants with 30ish acceptances (from what I'm told at least). There was also a page which gave the reason for rejection (very nice). I was rejected for there being no advisor available (at least none that wanted me), which was sad because according to them I was on par with those accepted. I guess I should have done some networking. Sigh.
