UT Austin failed to respond timely. Even they've not finalized many accepted candidates' funding (who got acceptance notification about a month back); needless to say about the notification of rejected candidates! This is the grad admission coordinator reply "The PhD committee is meeting very late in the afternoon this Wednesday.They should give me all updates then." I presume it would be midnight of 14th April, when they would give all updates and ask to respond by midnight of 15th April... Huh !
