- To the poster below asking about SJSU and our stats. I have a 3.9 in the major, 3.8 overall. I am in NSSLHA, have therapy hours, very involved in the field. You didn't need to submit GRE scores so I won't disclose that (because they are mediocre anyways). I am currently in the communicate disorders and sciences department at SJSU and live in San Jose. The department only accepted around 30 students, and half or more are internal applicants like me. I'm not even positive if they have sent out all the letters yet. But I do know my letter was sent Tuesday.. SJSU is a really great program. Amazing instructors and good placements. Best of luck!
