- Received an email inviting me to check the attached pdf about my status. This pdf then said they were sorry my application was unsuccessful and stressed that the two most important factors were a candidate's academic record and fit with advisor. Thought I had both; but maybe I didn't. Got an amazing offer from another school though which I am going to accept. :) Good luck everyone!
