- Goldwater Scholar, three years of research experience, high chemistry GPA. I can't quite understand the decision, except that maybe my application was strong enough that they thought I might not actually accept the offer (an admissions officer told me that that is a factor sometimes). I'm kinda bummed because it's the only pharmacognosy grad program in the country.
