- "We thought quite highly of your application". The personalized rejection somewhat softens the blow. This was mostly expected as I already have my MFA in a similar subject and there were only two available spots. With that said, I'm somewhat sad as this is my sixth rejection. 4.0 GPA in a graduate school where some of their faculty attended/taught. Congratulations to those who got in.
