- Received warm email from chair on 2/5/13 stating the department "recommended my admission" (to the college), and I was invited for a campus/faculty visit on 2/21-22. The day before visiting (2/20) the online application prompted me to accept an offer of admission (now from the college), but still no word on being a GTA or funding. Visited and accepted online offer 2/26 to try to expedite GTA offer (which would come from dept). Then on 3/21/13, I was offered a full Doctoral Assistantship, tuition waived, with stipend. Happy.
