- Took them from mid-December to 3/20 to send me a letter stating that I wasn't competitive enough, and that their decision was based on academic measures, (75th percentile and up on the GRE, etc) and that my letters of recommendation probably weren't good enough? Mmmkay. Given that this program can't fund its Ph.D students, I think I dodged a bullet.
