- They referred in Email that " This offer shows our recognition of your potential, our confidence in your ability to succeed in your graduate studies at UIUC, and confidence in you fulfilling our Ph.D. program goal" Since I applied for Master degree, I'm kind of confused with above sentence. So I asked them via Email and they told me that transition MS to PhD is very natural.. No fund from ME dept. Also my TOEFL score is less than their minimum requirement, so that they asked me to take ESL.
