- M.Ed. My GPA was a 3.4 because my first two years of ungergrad were littered with C's, D's and a couple of F's due to extenuating health problems. Last two semesters were phenomenal though. I took five years to graduate from college. Furthermore, I submitted two sets of GRE scores by mistake one of which placed me in the 40th percentile in Quant! I got a BSc. in Media from one of the "new ivies" (what an expensive joke) and had my Creative Writing teacher write me a reference! I have almost three years of work experience, but only one year teaching. However, I do have an extremely international background. So basically, for people who are thinking of HGSE and feel they aren't good enough like I did, just go for it. I think you will be pleasantly caught between moments of elation, shock, and relative hysteria. Life is weird that way.
