- On behalf of the Graduate Admissions and Awards Committee of the Political Science Department, I would like to thank you for applying to our graduate program. We received approximately 130 applications and the committee reviewed each carefully. In many cases, very difficult choices were necessary because the quality of the applicant pool was so impressive and because we can enroll only 10 to fifteen new students in the fall 2008 term. I am sorry to inform you that you were not among those whom the committee has recommended for admission. I wish you all the best in your academic pursuits.
