- Expected the offer because one of the people of interest at the university called me and spoke to me at length about the program and pittsburgh in general. Said that my GRE scores and grades made them consider my application! That was quite a surprise, since I always thought that GRE scores didn't really make that much of a difference (I mean, unless they're really bad).
