- To KAUST posters below: it's weird, it seems like I'm the only person hearing back from KAUST within a business day. If you guys ever got communication from a specific admissions person and not from the generic [email protected] email, you should try to use that. I contacted them around April 1st and they replied the next day that they're planning to release all decisions by end of April. Given their track record, I'm not trusting it though. To the person asking if KAUST is worth it - from all the sources I've read on it, students there are very happy and a good 50% of masters students stay on for PhD. On top of that they give you a lot of money (did you last year's $75K a year awards?). But yes, it's a new university and their admissions process is notoriously frustrating.
