- After keeping in constant contact with them since I submitted my application packet in February, I was notified over the phone that despite previous assurances otherwise, they had never received my creative samples and therefore, never reviewed my application. I was not notified of these missing materials, and since the department sent out notifications a week ago, it seems I'm rejected, though I may never get formal recognition of that either. I've written an email to appeal, but have not heard back. Unless something changes and they surprise me, I cannot state strongly enough that people should not apply to this school. Based on previous posts here about CSULB, I can tell I'm not alone in that feeling.
