- I turned in my application Feb 1st and didn't hear a thing until May 13th when I got the call. I believe that after 4/15, people are waitlisted. I wasn't told that I was, but I'm pretty sure of it. I don't care though; I got in and it was my number 1!! Every school does things differently, but I in my experience, just because you have a high GPA, doesn't mean you are automatically in over someone else. Schools may not accept you just because someone else has better recommendations and/or essay. You just never know. Good luck to everyone waiting, there's always hope and Congrats to the Accepted!!
