- I spoke to the new graduate assistant for the LAEP program, and he informed me that I was on the waitlist. He said that it would be another 3-4 weeks to find out if any spots open up (in other words, after the April 15 deadline to accept any other offers you may have). Two other infuriating things: they cannot tell you your ranking (how far down the wait-list you are) and that EVERYONE who was not accepted to MLA or PhD programs for Landscape Architecture IS ON THE WAITLIST!! They are basically not rejecting anyone even though he told me that there were about 250 applicants across the entire department and only 60 will be admitted. So, don't get your hopes up about the wait list. I am done with UCB, actually glad that I don't have to choose and am going to University of Oregon instead.
