Note

Received email : "We have been impressed by your application but due to... the huge number of applicants...we will not be in a position to make a final decision for next fall's class until early April." REALLY? As in, we are supposed to wait around for 2 months--and keep all our other programs waiting, not to mention people on the waitlists at those programs--because they are indecisive? I doubt they have more applicants than, say, Yale, yet Yale already released their decisions. Maybe Vanderbilt is just trying to weed people out by seeing who will withdraw, but seriously, WTF.
