- I had applied back on Nov 28, as deadline was on 30. Applied after having an interview with PI who has opened the vacancy. I have one publication in Q2 journal as a first author. Do not know why they are taking forever to make decision. It was strange that I put into waitlist at first place, as my PI was super excited to recruit me (now on maternity leave). I tried to contact with Program Chair, and administrative assistant but the mail response is 10:1, they barely said I am in the waiting list but am yet to hear back from them like in position of waitlist I am right now. I had other offer from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, but I declined in May 20 thinking I will get this offer, but I am literally fed up, and living in a thread of hope.
