- Had over a dozen of SSCI (mostly Q1) - mostly first or solo authored - publications in related field of sustainability political economics. I am a former exchange student in my undergraduate studies, as well. I have a masters degree in a top 10 university, while undergrad is within top 40. I had a part-time RA experience for 3+ years. Interview was a positive experience where I was not able to be challenged by the interviewers and had been acknowledged of my proven record. Unfortunately to my surprise - and to everyone’s surprise -, my application got rejected. However, it is surprising to me and (of course, to my great disappointment) that there were some people who admitted had limited research experience - lets alone any proven publication record. So if one wants to apply for PhD in this program next year, you will need to think carefully about what they really want. I agree with the previous comments that there are lack of intuitive pattern what the PhD admission committee really want at this point. I am being brutally honest for those who is considering to apply here.
