- I corresponded with a professor I had an informal Zoom conversation with in the fall who told me that I was waitlisted and that the department was only accepting one international student for this cycle. I appreciated that the professor shared this with me. It would have been helpful to know that the department was only accepting one international student before applying and paying the application fee. Additionally, I reached out to the graduate coordinator about a status update a few weeks ago and never received one. The portal still says "under review."
