- I reached out to UConn because I had not heard. Only then did I get a rejection email, which essentially told me that even though I was not being considered, I wouldn't receive a rejection until after April 15th. Idk if this is a common occurrence, but I find it to be a bit disrespectful either way, after all the time we spend on these apps. The email I was sent is below: "Thank you for your email and continued interest in UConn’s MA program. At this time, we have issued offers of acceptance to a very small number of applicants, as well as notifications to a few others that they have been placed on a selective waitlist. It is unlikely that we will move beyond our waitlist this year. Official decisions for all remaining applicants will likely be released after the April 15th deadline, as UConn adheres to the Council of Graduate Schools’ (CGS) “April 15 Resolution”: April 15 Resolution - CGS (cgsnet.org). Applicants who have received offers have until April 15th to respond."
