- This is my third year applying to PhDs in cognitive Pending asylum and a pending green card application. I have been editor for an undergraduate research journal, 2 papers on the works that have not been finished, but with my honors thesis, and some blog articles. At one point, I was a coordinator of a university's Office of Research, and I even helped kickstart research programs for graduates and undergrads. I have worked in 3 labs, and am currently a lab manager and science communicator. Had talked and met with the faculty last semester. Have been a member of a bunch of orgs and PhD readiness programs, I don't know what else to do at this point lol. I even mentored some students who got into their desired programs this year. Thank you for coming to my rant. See you all next cycle. Hopefully, my other papers will be published by then, and having the green card also helps :D
