Does anybody apply for stat phd as undergrad? Anyone got any response from the department?

TTPB: to the post below for ISU. This program also did not reply to my emails regarding decision. But so far the coordinator told that they cut half in the budget due to situation and now are unable to accept half of (300) applicants admitted usually. She suggested accepting other offers if any. So for all being ghosted by ISU, suggest accepting other offers.

Is this another department everyone got ghosted by? Another wasted application fee for me. I'm happily attending another program, but it is so frustrating that some departments will shamelessly avoid sending any communication. It drags out the decision process for everyone as applicants hold onto other offers until 4/15 while waiting to hear from these disorganized departments. Really wish we could push back on this behavior.

TTB: I received something similar from the department, I got into a lot of schools so I am not really worried but I am a bit sad that I didn't get in!

Got an email from the department saying they will not be making any additional offers prior to April 15. They suggested accepting an offer from another program if you have any and to notify them if you're still available after April 15. Although the chances that any positions will become available are quite slim.

Got into Wisconsin and Penn State, waiting on 3 others!
