Email about status update. Knew it after no interview invite

Received waitlist notification over email from admissions committee.

Call from one of my interviewers early in the morning, followed by an email from the program in the afternoon.

call from PI at 11am EST! can’t believe it!

The waiting lists and acceptances were selected from the students who called for an interview, but I did not get an interview invitation. Therefore, it is an unofficial rejection. All interview invitations were sent out on 16th Dec, which has been the case for a few years. Good luck to those who got the invitation for interviews. :)

Ignore the status. Does anyone heard anything from Harvard Neuroscience?

Department told me there are more interview slots for mid january. Best of luck. I have 2 firsts, 1 Nature co-first.

Other applicant shared the news that we're didn't receive an interview on 12/16/22, that equals rejection. Sigh.

(Fall 2023) Heard from the department that all interview invites were sent on 12/16 and that the official rejection letter will only be sent around March. If you haven't received an interview invite Friday, you are no longer being considered for Harvard PiN.
